Claude Fuess was an educator, historian and author, commissioned by businessman Frank Stearns to write a biography of Stearns himself, a project which was abandoned after Stearn's death. Collection includes unfinished typescript chapters of the biography, along with various biographical materials about Stearns and some of his personal papers.
